Review on πŸ”₯ Vittoria Bomboloni High-performance TNT Tire by John Murphy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

fast and stable for sport

Surprisingly fast rolling, almost as fast as Rocket 2.25. like the Racquetron, very good lateral support on loose and compacted gravel. unfortunately not so good grip with wet roots. however, wet rocks are very good, and where this tire really shines is on rocky trails in the mountains. a lot of confidence, just flip almost everything. carcass is well protected and withstands a lot of wear and tear sits tubeless right away and is still sealed for me 2 years later never used sealant on my 40i rims the carcass is 71mm wide grips are 75. would be used in winter but would not recommend it there. It works well on fresh snow, but since the compound is quite stiff, it lacks traction on icy patches and icy rocks. Almost zero grip I would say. other tires are better suited for this. Both Michelin and Schwalbe have significantly better compounds there, and of course you can opt for carbide studs.
