Poor design of cookware
Too bad the aesthetic design of this kettle is so cute, but the functional design leaves something to be desired. The area where you have to place your fingers to lift the cork is all metal so it is very hot to the touch. I don't understand why they didn't design it with the silicone grip all the way down. Otherwise this is a nice big kettle which would have been perfect for us. Was also disappointed that the new kettle had a discolored stain on the handle that did not rub off. We wouldn't be embarrassed, but the functionality didn't live up to our expectations.
