I bought this to have a large and cheap supply of paper towels. I find it good for general house cleaning; This economy paper towel is of pretty good quality, not too rough and not too flimsy. It's also very handy if you forgot to buy a regular paper towel; it acts as a solid backup when needed. It holds up relatively well to cleaning, so as you can imagine it's pretty effective if you're just using it to dry your hands.
