Well, it's going to be easy. Do you have a cat? Yes = buy. No = Buy it after getting a cat. A few months ago I got a new kitten named River, my first cat since my old friend died a few years ago. We've recently moved and I wanted to see if I could find something for him and came across this. Of course, it works like an absolute charm. First, it only took about five minutes to install because it's so easy anyone can do it. After I finished building it, I carried it into the living room and my cat started fiddling with it almost immediately. From trying to bite the scratching post to playing with the noisemaker from above, he spent all day playing and sleeping on it. I made a video to show it in action a bit and you can see in the last photo where the little rascal found it to be a good bed to sleep in too. I've only had this product for a short time so I can't confirm its durability but I feel it's soft, hard and durable. I think my cat will enjoy it for a long time.
