I'm only a casual C2 user so this case more than meets my needs for keeping the lens and screen clean. when the neck strap is attached. Due to the molded ridge in the body to protect the lens, it has an orientation where the C2 fits best in the body. The corner where the strap attaches is on the edge that goes in first; and hidden under an elastic net. doesn't matter much. The case maker can rotate that half of the bed 180 degrees, or FLIR can connect the lanyard to other corners (which can be handy for left-handers). Overall, I'm happy with the case and would buy it again.
