Review on πŸŽ™οΈ 16GB BESUE Digital Voice Recorder - Voice Activated, Playback, Rechargeable Audio Recorder for Meetings & Lectures, Handheld Dictaphone with Double Microphone, Noise Cancelling by Kyle Salinas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pleasantly surprised so far

FIRST - I'm not a paid browser - bought this with my $ after doing a lot of thinking about available registrars. On the one hand, it's ridiculously cute. Tiny. Sweet. An ally in a cold world. Secondly, it is easy to use and quite intuitive. The instructions are really clear. For my purposes, a voice recorder is fine - put it on the AVR and record your thoughts. Then play them at some point and change them to text. My voice is clear and doesn't sound too silly on playback (like an iPhone voice recorder really does). It was easy to connect to Mac and transfer files to save. Then I deleted the files from the recorder and started again with new nonsensical thoughts that nobody would care about. Storage space and battery life aren't an issue for this type of use, but they are if you're recording hours of lectures. , or not. You have to see it yourself. What disappointed me the most wasn't the recorder itself, but the fact that I was hoping to transfer wav or mp3 files to my computer and find software to easily translate them to text. That hasn't happened yet. Again, the registrars are not to blame. Unit durability? subject to clarification. But overall I really like it and it was great on Prime Day.

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Poor instructions
