My magnet didn't work. You have to turn the light on and off manually. I'm not sure if they don't work or if I just didn't use them properly. Directions are not in English so I had to look up directions on YouTube. I was able to mount projectors on my doors with no problem. The backlight works and the picture is clear. The only negatives are the instructions and that my magnet didn't work. The idea is for the projector to turn off when the door is closed, but since I have a feeling the magnets aren't working I have to turn the light on and off manually, which gets annoying after a while.
