Review on Klein Tools NCVT-2 Voltage Tester: Reliable Non-Contact Dual Range Tester with 3 m Drop Protection by Anthony Arcos

I am a regular customer simply because of their outstanding customer service. Prior to this purchase, all fourteen items in my previous orders were bulletproof. I bought this dual voltage non-contact voltage detector for my home renovation. It worked perfectly for a few months, but then it started activating on its own. It will be sitting there with nothing around (or touching) if it suddenly activates. I have used this device a lot and appreciated the quality of the voltage detection. Because it was bulletproof I really didn't want to try to find a similar brand. This device came in handy when I installed shelves with switches nearby. I used a voltage tester to get a rough idea of where the wires are behind the wall. I emailed Kline, explained the problem and received a return authorization. I returned the product and received a brand new unit in less than a week. I'm not sure if they have a lifetime warranty, but with this level of "support for their products" I will be getting a lot more of my tools from Klein.
