Review on πŸ•οΈ SnapPad Xtra - 6-Pack RV Leveling Jack Pads for 9 inch Round Landing Feet: Stay Permanently Attached by Scot Hughes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Looks like they work for us.

After having to do some work on our Ground Control 2.0 for our fifth wheel, I noticed that the underside of the footpads were starting to rust. Basically the front hall lifts the foo pads on the trailer, sometimes slips a bit after hooking and retracting the jacks. At home we have a trailer that is leveled on concrete slabs in the rain. The plastic pads available here or from Camping Worlds dry out too quickly and become brittle and need to be replaced at least once a year. So we thought this might solve both problems. I cleaned and repainted the jack legs on the fifth wheel. I followed the directions, used dish soap, and lowered the jacks onto the cushions in the hallway. It took a lot of negotiation, but eventually they settled on the jack plates. Since the rear and middle pads are only for leveling the device. I felt like simply lowering them wouldn't work. This and the middle supports do not have a manual lowering function. So I also removed the foot pads and used dish soap and a rubber mallet. I put her back on the fifth wheel. These rubber grommets seem to hold onto the jack legs well and keep the jack leg far enough off the ground to keep rain out of the water.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Some Flaws
