Review on Panaracer Schrader American Self Sealing Bicycle by Devon Holmes

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The self-sealing doesn't work on the pin hole and prevents sticking

Being heavy, they seemed to last longer and be more durable. Obviously not. One developed a pinhole during normal road driving for no apparent reason. The green slime didn't stop the flow. I left the bike for a few days thinking the self healing slime might stop the leak. no I then tried using a tubular patch on the pin hole. The slime appeared to soil the tire's outer surface where it exited the puncture, preventing the patch from adhering. I tried wiping the stain with alcohol but it didn't help. After 3 failed repair attempts. I gave up. Might be useful if your tires have studs or something, but I only drive on paved roads. I will not buy again.
