Over the years I've tried many other brands of kids cases including the expensive Otterbox, Griffin and Lifeproof. While they are good, they are quite expensive and no more durable than these. Drops, food on the screen protector, etc. This case holds up and offers decent protection. It's fairly easy to remove the case and then soak it in hot water and dish soap to remove dirt. We switched from an old iPad with a Ledniceker case to a new one, so we got a Ledniceker case for the new one and I'm glad it's exactly the same (except for the dimensions of course).
