These cutting boards have rubber ends that don't slip at first, but when something hot hits them they deform and the ends curl up and the center becomes the pivot for the rotating cutting board. The juice groove isn't very deep, and if you cut something like a whole chicken or watermelon, the juice can spill out. My main gripe is probably the awfully high-pitched noise they make when slicing something like a carrot when the knife snaps onto the board. The slot on the bottom acts as a speaker and sounds horribly and annoyingly loud. It's mostly on the big board, but that's why I bought it to cut food coming out of the smoker.
