Save money buy a toilet mat there is no difference

Save money. I was a buyer for an art store studying graphic design when I bought the Strathmore papers. They are nothing more than tiny leaves cut from a larger leaf. I'm still an artist and in my spare time I copy design and draw. I'm not saying this to sound like a snob or anything, I just want you to know where I'm from and help you get the most bang for your buck (these items don't come cheap). You can buy an 11" x 15" notepad here on Amazon and get the same amount of cutouts in that size for just 2 sheets, while the entire notepad will cost you less than $10 and still have 10 full sheets to spare. Cutting paper is not difficult and you have the freedom to choose the size you want. This paper has a texture and a tooth so you don't really want to use alcohol markers on it, it would be a waste of time. It absorbs ink and bleeds horribly (which is why Bristol is used for stamping and painting with copiers. It's a smooth and much less porous surface). I have been selling paper for over 10 years and I know the properties of different types of paper and this is nothing but cut sheets of watercolor paper. If you need texture, visit your local art store and ask for toilet paper. You will be shocked to find giant notebooks for the same price as these 20 sheets of photo paper. I ordered this paper thinking it was a special ink mixed media, but I'm wrong! Unfortunately, I find that many of Tim Holtz's products are overpriced and many crafters have no idea that the products themselves are nothing more than another product that he has rebranded (e.g. his Craft Mat, which is a Teflon baking sheet for cookies and nothing else). Where I live now there aren't any proper art vendors in my area so I rely on Amazon orders. Luckily they are great with returns and welcome feedback. I called rangers and they were very unhelpful. Actually their response was (no kidding) that I can buy direct from them if I'm not happy with an order on Amazon lol! (Full retail price no lower) I said uh no I'm not happy with the product, not the supplier. Tim Holtz seems like a nice guy, but when you promote something and it turns out to be fake, you look bad. I had 3 defective Holtz items, Ranger did absolutely nothing but Revane fixed it immediately and refunded my purchases. Do not be fooled. You buy a brand, not a product.
