No UV resistance, not for outdoor use
They seemed well built and well suited to holding a tarp on a roller mounted pool solar cover. But after just two months outdoors (June-August) the straps literally fell apart, ripped with a simple touch and my hands were covered in black powder. I imagine they would be fine for indoor work or just occasional outdoor use, but certainly not for long-term outdoor use.
