Great deal for six useful straps

Stitched to our dog coat as the velcro straps won't hold. Great deal for six straps. The buckles are strong enough and easy to buckle and unbuckle even with one hand. I don't know if they'll stand up to extremely harsh uses like strapping on gear while hiking in third world countries, but they'll easily hold a winter coat on a big, strong, wavy dog in rain and snow.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Communication with seller

No UV resistance, not for outdoor use

They seemed well built and well suited to holding a tarp on a roller mounted pool solar cover. But after just two months outdoors (June-August) the straps literally fell apart, ripped with a simple touch and my hands were covered in black powder. I imagine they would be fine for indoor work or just occasional outdoor use, but certainly not for long-term outdoor use.

Very helpful. and works great!

Our Ford Excursion had a "flap" dangling from the back of the second row of seats. We tried to tape it down so it wouldn't fall into the laps of those in the 3rd row. It did not work. These belts were perfect. They connect easily and we were able to wrap all of the 2nd row seatbacks and hold that flap. Hooray! The problem is solved. We've also used them to keep tightly rolled sleeping bags together. Will definitely order again. The usage is endless.

Very poor quality of attachment straps

I have not used these straps since I bought them in October 2020. The two used are static - tying up a tarp that has typically been used for camping a few times during the spring and fall. The other two were used this year and both failed due to plastic connectors. Nothing is broken, they just don't stay secure when tightened and pulled apart. The tightening process wasn't difficult either. Just pull, and as soon as the tension started, they parted. Definitely NOT recommended.

ATTENTION: WRONG LENGTH

Attention buyers, this is not the length stated by the seller. The project I was working on required two tie down straps that were at least 6 feet long. I bought these 4 packs of 6ft harness and they are a few inches shorter than 6ft. Nice. And wouldn't it make sense for a manufacturer to add an extra foot to the advertised length so you can actually tie something up to 6 feet in diameter with enough straps to pull it through? If extra strapping is a problem, it can simply be cut off and the…

These straps tighten when properly threaded.

These straps are just great. I read most of the reviews before buying and found the #1 complaint is that they don't fit snugly. They work if you know how to work with them. The strap must be properly threaded through the end of the buckle or they won't work at all. If you just thread the strap through the buckle, they won't tighten. They need to be rotated around the B-pillar and back to tighten. See photos below for reference. . The first photo is not threaded correctly, the second and third…

Not exactly 72 inches long.

Remember this is not really 72 inches. As supplied and unpacked they are approximately 68 inches long with minimal tension and this does NOT include a strap loop through the end of the buckle. To do this, you need to additionally provide a couple of centimeters of the strap. I would say the maximum usable strap length would be nominally less than 66 inches with 1 inch of strap length coming out of the buckle. I bought these to replace the straps on my music equipment anvils. I needed a strap to
