Watch your polarity
With the charging setup on my motorcycle and using a Schumaker float charger, i had to use the black wire for positive and the red for the negative to the battery. Just check the polarity when installing this unit. Other than that, very simple and yet looks durable.
- Using it for a separate solar panel on my RV while I'm away. Keeping my batteries charged.
- The plug could potentially short out if exposed to water, causing damage to connected devices
