Dangerous/defective; I immediately blew up IC L293D. Damaged Raspberry Pi.

At the moment the test/demo code was run to power a pair of DC motors, the L293D chip failed and when that chip collided with the Raspberry Pi, shut down to whom it belongs, set it on fire and damaged the Pi with mud from the chip. complete failure. Having pulled all the forces from around the room, I had to clean the room from fumes. Also, the documentation on the GitHub doesn't work. Some codes contain errors and conflicting information in the specification. Pull requests have been submitted by others to fix issues but are still being ignored.
