First of all, this headset picks up your voice perfectly. The boom mic is easily adjustable, and the foam around the mic helps reduce wind noise you might create if you accidentally blow on it while speaking. The problem with this headset is that it's not comfortable for people with medium or large heads. I wear a fitted 7 1/2 baseball cap and this headset was so tight I had to take it off after 20 minutes. You may be able to bend the headset cord vigorously to make it more comfortable since it's all metal, but I've decided not to try my luck here. Another problem is that this headset is really designed for calls. Voices sound crystal clear, but any mid or low notes sound muffled. I don't think you'll notice if you're not listening to music, but as I'm not always on the phone and don't want to switch my headphones between periods of being on Skype etc, I decided to send this headset back .
