Recommended for value and performance

I bought this headset because I run webinars from my home office. Yesterday I was in the middle of the webinar when a garbage truck pulled up under the window! It was loud and I was sure everyone at the webinar could hear it :( Not very professional. BUT then I asked one of the participants if he heard the garbage truck and he didn't. Now *it* is noise reduction Two other things The things I like about this headset are: 1) The headphones are small and comfortable. I used another brand with…

The audio and video accessories broke after 2 months

Was just after a break from work to put on the headphones and the right handset just broke off. urge I survived almost two months. I use it every day and love the noise canceling feature, but I expected it to last MUCH longer. Return to the drawing board to find a new brand and set. Updated Rating: Originally given a 1 star rating. That still applies to the headset and I wouldn't buy it again. However, Headsets.com tries to find another brand/model that works well for me. So thank you for your…

Speech recognition, best headset I've ever tried

I've tried about 6 different microphone/headset combinations. All this to offer the most efficient and accurate speech dictation customized with DragonDictate Professional. So far, this combination seems to be the most accurate and relatively comfortable. I think I will continue to use this for some time. UPDATE I bought a second one for my home office. When it arrived there was a problem with the connection, something was dangling at the junction of the cable and earpiece. I emailed them and…

Major design flaw

I spent way more money on this headset than I thought it would be perfect. It's comfortable and has great sound quality. BUT. Cord is a big problem. It doesn't feel "isolated" from the speakers. Every time I move my head and the cable touches my shoulder or whatever, I hear it touching everything and rustling as it moves, heavily amplified by the speaker on the side where the cable is connected. It's so distracting and annoying that I keep the cord away from my body the whole time I'm using the

Very good but maybe not the best for me

Virtual workspace and I use this headset 3-4 times a week for internal company meetings. The sound quality is excellent for both the microphone and the speakers. At first I thought they were a little tight in the ears but now they stretch gently and are more comfortable now. The noise-cancelling feature certainly works well, but after about 10 minutes it gives me an uncomfortable feeling of pressure, like I have a runny nose. I can eliminate most of these discomforts by moving one earbud…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • A bit torn

First of all, this headset picks up your voice perfectly. The boom mic is easily adjustable, and the foam around the mic helps reduce wind noise you might create if you accidentally blow on it while speaking. The problem with this headset is that it's not comfortable for people with medium or large heads. I wear a fitted 7 1/2 baseball cap and this headset was so tight I had to take it off after 20 minutes. You may be able to bend the headset cord vigorously to make it more comfortable since…

Headphones.com!

I was looking for a pair of inexpensive USB headsets for the occasional webinar/meeting with my online students. After a frustrating experience with Logitech headsets (too tight, causes headaches), I did my research on all headsets under $100. The study consisted of an analysis of comments like these from consumers, good and bad, and a percentage analysis based on the number of comments received, and that was what told the story. I ordered and received these headphones and immediately tested…
