I have used many different brands of EO. I mostly use D๐Terra or YL but sometimes I buy others and have found some good brands that are actually essential oils. This brand is not one of them. I bought vetiver, rose, and jasmine, and while they all smell nice, they aren't essential oils. I'm not even sure if it's an oil as they mix easily with water in my diffusers. Vetiver doesn't even smell like vetiver, but something very perfumed. And it was thin and watery. Different oils usually have different consistencies, and vetiver is usually slightly viscous and slightly amber in color. This vetiver is transparent and watery. It doesn't even smell like vetiver. It just smells very perfumed, like perfume from a lab. Jasmine and Rose smell more than they should, but still not quite right. EOs are very focused and tend to be a lot sharper on their own. These fragrances are pre-blended. In addition, the odor of all three "oils" disappears in less than 5 minutes when added to the base oil. These are definitely not real essential oils. When you need a guarantee, go with the big names. If you don't want or can't pay for the best quality, Revain has better options.
