Review on 🧪 Hanna Combo pH/EC/TDS/C/PPM Tester HI98129: Reliable and Efficient Multi-Parameter Testing Solution by Isaac Simpson

The PH sensor is terrible and expensive to replace!

Very expensive and difficult to calibrate PH side. Now I only use this probe to read TDS/EC and temperature. The PH tip was such a problem that I bought a special PH meter just for that measurement. First, you need to store the tip in a PH storage solution. The solution will eventually evaporate even with the lid on, so be prepared to keep buying bottles of solution for storage. As for the calibration. Well, let's just say get ready to spend some time with this meter. Calibration becomes more time consuming as the sensor ages, as does readout time. I used to spend up to 5 minutes waiting for the readings to stabilize! And your readings will vary wildly, sometimes resulting in reduced accuracy. This device must have the same quality defect as the fax/printer/copier. There's nothing special about it, but you have it all. I prefer my $70 Oakton Ecotestr PH meter which can be stored dry and easily calibrated in weeks!
