Review on Nikon 180Mm F2 8D IF ED Nikkor by Marcia Davis

I really like this lens. When I first started making the switch to prime lenses, I needed something between my old ED 300 and my 85. It fitted the bill. It is designed to keep up with soccer and outdoor basketball. Focusing is fast and the colors are correct. I use it on d3 and d7100 and it just works. I don't know if a pixel can stand up to a pixel on a d800 for a shooter but I vouch for it in these two bodies. I just noticed one problem yesterday. One shot had some color fringing but was lit by sunlight in a very high contrast image. One photo out of a thousand I've taken. not bad.
