Our 7 year old Samsung dv5451aew front loading dryer still worked but no longer dried/heated. After watching a few YouTube videos on how to remove the front and go through the back, I pulled out the heating element and noticed the coil was broken (no continuity). I've replaced the thermal fuse, thermostat and heater coil with the ones from this kit and it's running as it should again. The hardest part was removing the wires from the terminals without breaking anything. This took several hours, but at the same time I changed the hinges on the door and cleaned all the dust and lint inside the device. I don't think it will take more than 30 minutes if I have to do it again now that I know what I'm doing. It's better than calling a handyman or buying a new dryer for 10 times the price.
