This product is cheap, which is why I bought it. The mounting system is better than some, but still kinda sucks. Its not sturdy in any way. I ended up using sticky tape to try and keep the shelf stuck to the brackets. Its mounted into a stud on each side, and then I used the included (really crappy) anchors that it came with. It still sags a little as it extends which is unfortunate. I'm only putting figurines and fake plants on them so I'm not worried about the weight. anything heavier though and it would surely sag quite badly.
