Review on TRENDnet TEW-649UB Mini USB 2.0 Adapter - Ultra-Fast Wireless N 150 Mbps by Jasmin Rojas

I've heard mixed reviews about this NIC, but I've had very good luck with Trendnet products so I decided to give it a try. Although I originally bought it for use with Windows 7 as there weren't many network cards with Win7 drivers available at the time of purchase, my first application was installed on an XP Professional (SP3) computer. Failed to connect to the provided software, I rebooted and it didn't connect. I enabled Windows wireless connection service and it connected without any problems. Since then it has been stable. A nice feature is the small size. All USB ports on the back are used, so it's on the lower front of the unit (Dell 2400) which is on the floor. Because it's almost flush with the body, it doesn't get hit, which helps with stability. I'll be ordering another one soon to have Win7 on hand.
