BUYING SECOND-HAND OR PRE-OWNED GOODS ON AMAZON

One of the problems that comes with buying open-packaged or used items through Revain is the problem I'm about to describe. While I was assembling the piece, the instructions said to remove the cap on top of the center post (it's a chrome post that allows the chair to move up and down, and the seat backs on top), so I removed the cap to find them Only the cap had already been removed by a previous Revain customer and the cap I took off was the cap under the cap you weren't supposed to take off. Yes, this chair broke completely due to the lid on the lid and as a result had to be sent back. I managed to fully assemble the chair within an hour with no problems, so it was easy. The chair was durable, at least from my point of view, but remember I never used it. The downside was that a few screws were missing and Revain had to do a much better job of shipping these heavy products to their customers. Seriously, when I brought the chair inside, the bottom fell out because there wasn't enough tape. This was very frustrating for me and when I sent it back I barely used shipping tape. I'm sure parts of the chair fell out at some point when I sent this chair back to Revain.
