I could get the same results with a simple green color. I soaked the lawn mower carburetor and valve parts for 24 hours. And it didn't even wash away the dirt! It's nowhere near what I used 15 years ago. I even taped a vibrating grinder to the can to stir things up and it turned out the charcoal wasn't soft enough to brush off with a toothbrush. The copper parts still look matte, not the bright gold the old-fashioned cleaner left them. Doesn't peel color like it used to. I would like to leave negative 5 stars it's so bad.
