This pen is good enough when everything else works.
Not the best fit or finish, but works. Had to drill pre-drilled mounting holes, they didn't match up but other than that it's what I expected. Go ahead, take out the latch, clean and oil it. Most likely, this is the real reason why your latch broke. Easy repair, not even very tiring.
