Review on High-Performance Taramps Smart 3 Mono Amplifier - 3000 Watts, 1~2 Ohms, Class D by Maurice Harvey

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not bad not good - car electronics

Everyone says it consumes a lot of electricity. I think I have 4 gauge wire, it might be 2 gauge, but from what I've read in the reviews everyone says it goes into protection mode unless you use a set of 3 large. I think they need to learn how to install or repair cars. I turned on the boost along with the power and ground 4 gauge bass boost wire and I can't get it to go into protection mode. If I could send it back I would only do it because I don't like that you have to go in every song and change the frequency, the output or something like that. One song has the bass hitting so hard I think I just broke my subs, and the next you can barely hear them beating. It puts out power and runs without getting hot, like most reviews the fans are loud and again it would be nice to have a knob over the limit knob.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • boring packaging
