We already had two spare GasKnight leak detectors and thought an extra handheld leak detector would be useful. We have propane heating and also a propane stove in the kitchen. When we received our new GasKnight Pro, we immediately discovered a small leak in our kitchen at the gas connection to our cooktop and propane line. It was in the closet and not picked up by a plug-in detector a few yards away. We also use it to check the outside of our propane tank and loft stove for leaks. This is a very useful device for checking for leaks and is also easy to use.
