I just finished installing it on my 2015 Rancher and would like to share some comments for those scratching their heads on how it works. While the previous comments are correct that getting the skid plate back is a bear, it's doable with a few tricks. First of all, after removing the protective plate, the mounting of the mount went smoothly. Second, I trimmed the excess bolt length from all bolts to reduce how low they hang off-season and the system barely hangs under the newly installed skid plate. Third, install the backing of the skid plate before cutting so you can reattach it and get an accurate cut. Fourth, make large cuts with the Ultimax vibratory saw and use a zip nut for the screws. It's a mess, but it cuts very easily and is fairly accurate. Fifth, once the cutting was complete, I was initially unable to attach the panel as other reviewers have noted. However, I did two things and had great success. Lengthen the rear holes on the skid plate to slightly increase the overall length. Install the front screws first, then use the ratchet strap on the back to pull the system backwards to access the holes. Finally, there are a couple of ledges on the skid plate that you need to sneak over the rungs underneath. If you don't fasten these tabs over the bar, it will be too short. One final tip: since we lost the two screw locations on the skid plate where the bracket is installed, I drilled a few holes in the skid plate and used zip ties to gently tighten the skids to the plow bracket and keep it from rocking. Happy day. It's a lot of work to redo everything, but it's doable and looks good/neat when done.
