I've had the Bright Eyes light for about a year now and it's amazing. Assembly can be a bit time consuming and awkward as you have to attach the battery separately from the flashlight. I also turn off the lights every time I leave my bike outside (more on that later), so it's a bit of a hassle. However, this light has helped me feel safe enough to travel solely by bike. My husband has some fancier lighting options that are easy to turn on and off (and he just got fitted with a flashlight dynamo too), but I haven't found anything brighter than this one. Cycling through the wintry streets at night, I'm so glad I have this lamp. The battery life is also good. If I don't do long rides and only use it for my 10-20 minute daily rides, I can ride for about a month on a single charge. And charging is also no problem when I need to charge it. But the most amazing thing is how the company treats you. I live in an apartment building and used to lock my bike right in front of the door. My original flashlight was stolen just a few weeks after I received it (strangely enough, the thief didn't take the battery, which was ridiculously stupid). This was my first bike theft experience and I was so angry and frustrated. I'm also in college and don't have the extra money to buy extra fancy lights. When I emailed Bright Eyes a real person emailed me and immediately believed me when I told them what happened and helped me get a FREE replacement. About a month ago the button on my flashlight stopped working which was a shame. . But I emailed a customer service rep and they sent a replacement again. It came in the mail today and works great. I'm too lazy to take pictures and upload them, but the photos on the web are accurate. : ) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you want a BRIGHT TO END ALL BRIGHT bike light, if you want your purchases to last longer, choose this option. (I'm not a bot :)
