Review on πŸ” OLIMT 10x42 Waterproof Binoculars: Hunting, Boating, Travel Bird Watching | Lightweight BAK4 Prism, Fog Proof & Floatable | HD Vision with FMC AM2 Coated Lens | Includes Phone Adapter by Montez Parson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fantastic optics, however.

Optically, these binoculars are no worse than the China binoculars I've seen in the 10x42 - 12x42 class. They also look great on the outside and all adjustments and moving parts feel good. Nothing is too loose or too tight, and there's no interfering play in the focus mechanism. What worries me may concern me more than anything else, but looking at their front ends I see 4 screw holes there. but only 2 screws per tube. I was under the impression that the original design called for 4 screws per side, but to cut costs they decided they could get by with just 2 screws per side. Also, these binoculars (which are slightly more expensive than some of the other very good 10x42 binoculars I've seen) only come with a thin velvet drawstring pouch rather than a stronger, more protective, and more useful belt pouch like most of their competitors. So I'd like to say 4.5 stars, but since they look good, I'll be generous and give them 5 stars.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Not bad
