The key fitted perfectly and my local Battery Plus was able to cut and program it easily. Initially, the key did not communicate with the mini tablet used, but another tablet could program it. The actual key also had to be cut out later because the first cut made it too narrow to fit into the ignition. This is all possible problems in the store and not with a keychain. My only criticism of the actual key fob is that it doesn't have the Kia logo on the back, but that's a minor issue. Overall I'm impressed with the result.
