Overpriced unreliable junk, shame on the pelican!

Terrible quality for a Pelikan product. I have used and am familiar with Pelikan products in the military. They are expensive and considered the best in the equipment and stock protection product line. I am very disappointed in this product. Inherently flawed from board design to application. Flaws appeared on the corner edges of the hull. Here you push the iPad gently into the hard case after inserting it into the impact-resistant first layer of soft rubber. This case is usually never filmed. I even installed a QI wireless charging receiver on my iPad. The case began to deteriorate in my hands over the last 6 months with the edges cracking and eventually peeling. I have the case at home, and to be honest, given the Pelican's reputation, I'm sure some people use their iPads outdoors in much worse conditions. I'm just amazed this thing isn't working. Also note the botched design of the hinge, it folds under pressure. It must be opposed and reversed so that the weight does not destroy it. If you are looking for a cheap case that will only last a year, don't hesitate, it will work just fine. Otherwise complete overpriced junk. Extremely disappointed.
