Update: I contacted Extech regarding the defective unit, they sent me a new unit with no questions asked. I've already started buying another one as I always like to have a backup unit for my house. inspections. The second unit is working great and I should get a replacement from Extech next week. So I'm changing my rating to 5 stars because I think the device is great for home inspection. Worked well initially, very sensitive, I like the large display as I'm a home inspector and need to photograph readings for my reports. But the display started behaving, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Or I turned it on and calibrated and it worked. have a high moisture reading when he's not around. I'm sending it back to Extech. I'll let you know what happens when I can add to this review later.
