I bought these for my wife to use instead of paper towels to save money and be more environmentally friendly. They absorb moisture just as well as paper towels, but can be washed many times before they become unusable. So, like a paper towel, with all their convenience and hygiene, you can use them once and then put them in the wash where they take up almost no space. They're also easier to clean since they don't fall apart. Excellent purchase.
