Good for recycling bags, but nothing more.
I bought this when my apartment building stopped giving out garbage bags. The bags meet my need to separate my recyclable items, mostly plastic bottles. I would not use this packaging for everyday rubbish. They are very thin and not strong at all. It breaks very easily with heavier objects. The threads are also transparent, not red as in the photo. Clear laces on a clear bag make it difficult to find.
