I liked it, cats do not

Got this since my old fountain stopped working. I like the stainless steel. It was very easy to assemble and clean. I like it a lot. But all 3 of my cats show absolutely no interest in it. I have no idea why. It's just a "cat thing." Since one of my cats is diabetic, it's very important that he drink. So I placed a bowl of water next to it, and all of the cats choose to drink out of the bowl. Go figure. So I put this away for now. I had it out for a week, and not fair to resell to someone else, after being used. I will keep it as a spare.

I was ok, but i didn''t like how the water was exposed. Things would fall in it and dust. And i couldn''t find filters to replace the 1 they provide. I only kept it for about 2 months before i ordered one that has the water covered
