I recently received an order for Paintcrush road brushes. They arrived very quickly and arrived very well packaged. This set includes: ¾" Brush (Pink) ½" Dagger Brush (Yellow) ¼" Dagger Brush (Natural) Cat Tongue Brush (Olive Green) Round Brush #2 (Green Gold) Feed Brush #1 (Blue) Canvas pouch with a QR -Code for a free lesson. There's a lot to love in this set. First, I've never seen a brush set with this exact combination. I've been a long time fan of Christy Rice (the developer of this set) and I love how she uses watercolors in a free and fun way. She did a wonderful job putting this set together because she loves to draw so much. Secondly, there are sympathetic sayings on every handle of these brushes that encourage the artist to stay happy. Among them: Unwavering Joy (Pink) Forget the Rules (Yellow) Art for Joy (Natural) Curious Watercolor (Olive Green) Happy Painting (Green Gold) Remember Joy (Blue) They are a joy to work with. These brushes have good springiness and their tips are excellent. Daggers are so versatile that I can paint very thin or very thick strokes with them. I really want to play with them and learn how to make leaves and petals. I've never seen a cat tongue in a set, and admittedly I'm not sure she can do everything, but it looks like she'll be versatile. They are coated with travel gum arabic and rinse off very well, keeping the brushes soft. I had no loose or stray hair. Fourth, there is a QR code for a free class. This includes over 10 different watercolor actions you can do with these brushes. These are my first impressions as I haven't played with them for a long time but I'm in love with them. I'm sure I'll love them even more if I use them.
