Review on Kids Children Safety Protective Gear by Kyle Awasthi

Revainrating 2 out of 5

*Great* quality but too small for my 7 year old

The size range listed is so far off (and I have to deal with the hassle of returning). They are most likely not suitable for children older than *may* 4-6 years unless your child is small/thin for their age. My son will not be 8 years old by the end of the month. Sure, he's tall for his age, but otherwise not too tall (he's very active and fit). Elbow pads and especially knee pads are a losing proposition. The LxW pads are fine, but the straps that hold them in place cut into his arms and legs, even as loose as we could strap them on. Otherwise they are really high quality. The dimensions of the pad are large and cover exactly what is needed, but no more. Your child will not look/feel like they are wearing parent's super protective body armor and it will not interfere with full movement. The fabric surrounding the fixed areas of the pads is high quality and very breathable. I just wish they would list the diameters the pads fit rather than the general age ranges OR just add a few extra inches to each strap to allow for a larger size range. I hope to find the same quality brand but in a size that fits my son. He loved them when he put them on, but after wearing them around the house for a while even he had to admit that it was impossible.

Pros
  • Includes 2 knee pads, 2 elbow pads, 2 wrist pads
Cons
  • So far so good
