Our new house came with a small fountain, maybe 12x24 water surface area. I bought this so we didn’t have to keep it plugged in all the time, but the water wouldn’t be stagnate.The spray patterns are cute and work really well, but ended up emptying our fountain really quickly. The spray pattern was so high, that when the wind blew, it sprayed the water out of the bird bath/fountain.I had to refill twice a day and was running through the fountain cleaner crazy fast. I took the spray pattern nozzle off so it’s more of a bubbler and the water has lasted over a week!If you have a wide water area like a little fish pond, I think the spray patterns would be fine.
