This is a very easy way to protect the walls around the cat house if you have to corner your house like me. The instructions say to attach the shield to the inside of the tray, which I didn't do. Instead, I placed them on the walls the box was closest to, then used the inverted command hook that was on top of the plexiglass panel to hold them in place. Not the intended app, but works exactly like that if you ask me. The only advice I can give buyers is that if you have a larger box, you should buy 2 sets.
