Review on 🥤 Stanley Stay Chill Pitcher Set: Insulated 64oz Stainless Steel Pitcher with 2 Stacking Steel Pint Glasses by Bryan Orozco

I love vacuum insulated items because they keep my drinks hot or cold for a long time, don't sweat or leave marks on the table. I have a few vacuum mugs and things like that, but this was my first time seeing a vacuum flask, so I had to try it. I used to think of Stanley as a premium brand before I bought this. It was packaged in a beautiful full color retail box with a jug and pint napkin to protect it which is a huge improvement over another Stanley item I have recently received which did not come in a box or any packaging became. After removing the napkin I was simply amazed at how these items look and feel. Beer glasses are good. The jug looks great and has a really nice clear lid with a little grate to keep ice or whatever from falling out of the jug when you pour the liquid. Just a very nice first impression. Well things changed quickly when I went to remove the lid and noticed that the handle attached to the jug was loose. It just screws into the brackets on the side of the jug, which seems simple enough. and straight out of the box the bottom screw of the jug handle was not screwed into the bracket so the handle just hangs from the jug. The screws are hex headed so I used a hex wrench to try and tighten them because it looks like it would be so easy to fix. I can see the screw in the bracket on the jug and I can't get that screw on. I suspect the screw is pointing the wrong way or something. In any case, the packaging states that this item is built to last and carries a lifetime warranty against defects and workmanship issues. There seems to be a problem with both. I've contacted support and still haven't received a response. I will update my review if/when they reply. If this wasn't an issue to begin with I would probably give 4 or 5 stars. I suspect the 4 screws in the handle might be rusty, but I can't confirm that yet. Anyway, I'm disappointed that right out of the box it's faulty and support hasn't responded.
