This cable gives a great picture on my new Samsung 28" 4K IPS monitor. higher load levels 4K 144Hz or newer 8K monitors. The picture was sharp and clear, and there were no signs of problems with accelerated video. Most newer monitors still have DisplayPort 1.2, which is a DP 1.4 cable. I'm curious if anyone can test it with DP 1.4 capabilities as well as higher refresh rates. If it works with those features then I agree that the cable is future proof as stated in another review. noticeable and I like the one with the red ends because I have a lot of wires and it helps to tell which is which. The only downside is that unlike the one in the picture, this cable is quite thick and finned compared to many DP and HDMI cables I have. make a bend so I can insert it into the vertically countersunk DP connector. The cable that came with my Samsung monitor is thinner and more versatile and also runs at 4K 74Hz with no problem. (But this cable is probably *not future proof). For a more flexible cable, I offer a flat rate, also DP 1.4, $4 cheaper and available in 10 foot lengths.
