I was hoping for a bike lock with enough security to allow for quick stops with easy locking and unlocking. Unfortunately, I had problems with both the locking mechanism and the app. First the application: it was buggy, when I tried to reset the settings due to a registry problem it printed a blank page with that setting. Digging around, I found that there were hotspots where the functionality was supposed to be happening and there was an active toggle point, but the text was grayed out, or at least the same color as the background. It could be an IOS dark mode issue, but I haven't messed with this issue yet. Fingerprint registration was incorrect. It seemed to register after a touch of the sensor and then lock and unlock with any finger - a definite flaw. The bluetooth seemed to work fine. But the main problem was the locking mechanism. The latch's catch did not extend far enough to engage the notch in the cable, so the cable was never locked in the locked or unlocked state. Looking at the problem, I saw that the stop bolt was a flat piece of metal. I was able to move the latch just enough with a flat piece of plastic so that if it caught on the cable, it was pretty easy to unlatch. This is not a product I would trust to protect my bikes.
