I was concerned the metal rim of this slider would be too thick but it's spot on - very strong, not flexible at all but the rim should fit right under the pizza with no problem. This is a spinning paddle used to rotate the pizza in the oven when it's done. The quality seems great. The handle is firmly attached with the included screws, the other end has a hanging loop under the plastic cover. Anodized aluminum should hold up better, and the 8-inch diameter seems like the perfect size for a Koda 12 or one of Ooni's ovens. I'm glad I chose this one. Craftsmanship than how this bowl is set up, but hopefully no more calzones for me (unless I really want calzones lol).
