I bought this caliber in preparation for handcrafted dovetail work and a number of other great woodworking projects. This type of sensor was highly recommended by many YouTube content creators, so I figured it's probably worth buying. I was not disappointed. I was amazed at the many ways I can use this in place of a tape measure, as well as being much faster and more accurate. Once you incorporate using this tool into your routine, you will be pleasantly surprised at how much faster and more accurate your work becomes. The quality of the instrument seems to be good; Good weight in hand, the flats on the brass body do a great job of preventing it from rolling off the workbench and the blades are sharp as you'd expect. I bought this "upgraded" micro-adjustment model because I thought it was worth it. an investment since other tools with this feature, such as B. my table saw, benefit greatly from it. However, I found that the play in the threads of this micro-adjuster was too much to be used for really "fine" adjustments. I'm sure I could have adjusted my technique to optimize the results, but that feature, lack of precision, and difficult to use sucked. Instead I chose to use my digital caliper for the high precision adjustment and it works well. All in all, this tool is worth buying!
