I just received a mirror and it's a beautiful piece of modern art! The mirror itself is a bit larger and easier to use than many, with no distortion that I've noticed with just one use, and the light can be adjusted up for exceptionally bright or down for in a very dimly lit room to be used. My only concern is that the base is unweighted. The top of the mirror is "solid" due to the largest mirror, a 10x magnetic mini mirror and an adjustable ball joint. but although the base expands for stability, it is hollow and does not provide adequate counterbalance to the weight of the top. If something throws the mirror off balance, it falls and lands hard on the mirror. If I decide to keep the mirror, which I probably will, once the return period is over I will try to add some weight to the base to make it more secure. In the future I will update this review to provide information on the durability of the lighting, switching mechanism, batteries and mechanical parts of the mirror. For now, this is a great vanity mirror - as long as nothing knocks it over. 😬
