Review on The TRX PRO3 Suspension Trainer - Designed for Elite Athletes and Coaches, TRX Training Club App by Dustin Lannan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a one device solution but a great free tool

We added the TRX Pro 3 to our home gym about three months ago. Overall we were very happy with that. I installed it with an X-mount ceiling mount and it has proven solid. We don't use it as a single device solution, but as an additional tool in our home gym. Rather than training the whole body on TRX, we use it more as a station (selecting a body part and training) in the metabolic circuit with many different types of equipment (kettlebells, free weights, plyoboxes, etc.). It fits this scenario really well. Where it really excels is as a portable exercise machine. We recently went on family vacation. We took TRX, two kettlebells and two mats. Basically a milk crate full of stuff and we programmed some really hard workouts for the week. In short, this is a great tool to have at home, but if I can mix it up with other tools that are better for increasing size and strength, I will. It's excellent on the go and everything folds into a bag a little larger than a shaving kit. One final note: we had a grip crack recently. I submitted a support request and within 24 hours a new one was on its way. I did some google searches and didn't find torn grips as a common problem. Other Revain reviews indicate that some companies were selling counterfeit products. Pay attention to where it's coming from. Also, the latest Pro version is 4. They only sell 3 on Revain. If I had known at the time, I could have gone straight there and gotten the latest model.
